How much does a new website cost?
It depends on what you need: a compact site with a few pages is different from a web shop. You always get a fixed price up front, so you know exactly where you stand. Request a quote; it takes one minute.
How long until my website is online?
A typical website for a local business goes live within three to six weeks. The sooner texts and photos are ready, the faster it goes. I am happy to help with the copy too.
Do I own my website and domain name?
Yes. The domain is registered in your name and once paid, you own the website. If you ever want to move, you get everything handed over properly.
What is the difference between SEO, GEO and AEO?
SEO gets you ranking high in Google. GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) makes sure AI assistants like ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity know and recommend your business. AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) makes your website answer customer questions directly, so search engines and assistants quote those answers.
Can I edit texts and photos myself?
Yes, if you want to. Choose a simple editor, or leave it to me as part of a care plan. Most business owners choose the latter: one email and it is done.
I already have a website. Can you improve it?
Certainly. I first review for free what works and what is costing you customers, then advise whether improving or rebuilding is smarter.
Where is my website hosted?
On dedicated servers in the European Union, with daily backups, HTTPS and security updates. Your data and your customers' data stay in the EU.
Do I need a cookie banner?
Usually not. I build websites without tracking cookies and with privacy-friendly analytics, so no cookie banner is needed. Better for your visitors and for your conversion.
Do you only work in Wassenaar?
I mostly work with businesses in Wassenaar, Leiden, The Hague and the surrounding area, because I like to visit in person. Remote projects are welcome too.
